Meet Dr. Alon

Dr. Amanda Alon, DMD, MS is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist dedicated to providing gentle, high-quality pediatric dental care in a fun, welcoming environment. With extensive experience working with children of all ages, Dr. Alon is passionate about helping young patients develop healthy smiles and positive dental habits that last a lifetime.

Throughout her career, Dr. Alon has worked with children in a variety of community and educational settings. She previously served as a Schweitzer Fellow, providing care and outreach to children in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and also worked as a part-time middle school Spanish teacher at Lawrence Catholic Academy. These experiences have strengthened her ability to connect with children and families from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Alon was born and raised in Methuen, Massachusetts. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston University before continuing her education at Boston University School of Medicine, where she received her Master of Science in Oral Health Sciences. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Following dental school, Dr. Alon completed a rigorous two-year post-graduate residency in Pediatric Dentistry at New York University/Bellevue Hospital in New York City. After completing her residency, she served as a faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she helped train future dentists.

Dr. Alon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Dental Association (ADA). She is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry to ensure the safest and most effective care for her patients.

When she is not in the dental office, Dr. Alon enjoys spending time with her family, running local 5Ks, and coaching the Boston University Cheerleading Team.
